A Study of Social Enterprise in the Pittsburgh Region (2002)
Olszak conducted research for the Forbes Funds regarding Social Enterprise in the Pittsburgh region. The objective of this study was to determine whether using a set of “promising practices” increases the likelihood of success in social ventures. This research study tests the hypothesis that certain practices may reduce risks associated with social enterprise and, in turn, significantly impact the success of the venture.
