Olszak's research services provide clients with the information they need to make strategic decisions and develop effective solutions based on solid reliable facts and analysis. We accomplish this by:

- Identifying key stakeholders and potentially affected interests, as part of the development of comprehensive project mailing lists and useful databases.
- Conducting informal fact-finding interviews with key stakeholders to identify issues and values that are important to each project's success.
- Facilitating meetings, focus groups, panels, and workshops.
- Developing Internet based information collection and exchange strategies such as web based surveys with tabulation, coding, and translation services.
- Creating database development, sort and sharing systems that enhance our clients' efficiency in information access and decision-making.
- Coordinating the implementation of all public comment surveys, questionnaires, testing, and evaluation tools with sampling, construction of instruments, administration, data entry, data analysis, and interpretation of findings.
- Conducting community surveys that guide priority setting and outcome evaluation.
- Identifying environmental justice groups and populations.
- Conducting environmental scans and trends analysis that may include the assessment of primary and secondary research such as stakeholder surveys, interviews, focus groups and forums, key informant discussions, analysis of behavioral trends and interests, analysis of demographics, and other planning-related information.
