It is hard to believe it has been 45 years since Brady’s Bend experienced a catastrophic flash flood on August 14,1980. Nine people lost their lives and the community was annihilated.

We invite you to join us for a day of gratitude and remembrance. 

The afternoon’s public event will include children's games and activities, emergency services, local history, and book sales and signing.

A morning invitation-only private memorial for families of victims will be held at the Brady’s Bend flood memorial with an unveiling of the renovated monument.
